Chapter presidents, presidents-elect, regional executives, and regional executives-elect from your region come together to solidify regional and chapter roles and expectations for the upcoming year. Lunch will be served, Kumbaya is optional.

Presidents Idea Exchange: The Tactical Leader

Volunteers are the key to your chapter’s success. This session will provide tactics for identifying and recruiting volunteer leaders who have the skills your team needs. Learn strategies to empower creative risk-taking, embrace new initiatives, and help your volunteers commit to giving their best. You’ll also explore ways to support volunteers who are facing challenges. Then learn how to carry off your board meetings with practical tips, techniques, and resources to prepare and execute an effective meeting.

Presidents Learning Lab: Making It Work (includes lunch)

Now that you’ve put your plan together, how will you keep everyone on task? This session will cover managing your leadership team, delegation, carrying out your annual or strategic plan while juggling job and family, identifying and developing future leaders, and engaging the younger members and student members who will determine you chapter’s future.

Presidents Learning Lab: Getting Out of a Jam - Dealing with Sticky Situations

No matter how well you plan, you will inevitably face challenges and sometimes uncomfortable situations during your leadership year. The good news is that you are not alone. Others have already found successful solutions to most of these situations. In this interactive session, you will explore common challenges and gain the knowledge, tools, and resources to turn challenges into opportunities effectively and professionally.
