Best part of my job: The opportunity to meet and work with a variety of professionals within my firm, the clients we work with and various HFMA people.
I joined HFMA because: Networking and Educational opportunities.
First volunteer involvement with HFMA: Participated in the chapter’s accounting and reimbursement committee.
Favorite HFMA memory: Being installed as chapter president the same year as Cathy Jacobson was installed as national chair (she was from our chapter and I had proctored her certification exams).

First job: Porter at an AMC/Jeep dealership.
Most unusual job: Night watchman at a park district swimming pool.
My family: Married, with 3 adult children (girls on the end, and a son in the middle).
Pets: 2 cats (Pumpkin and Sasha) and a dog (Sadie).
When I’m not working you will find me: Watching college sports or doing yard work.
Best advice received: It's not what you know, its who.
