6 Providers Honored for Revenue Cycle Performance Improvement
Sept. 5—HFMA announced this year’s winners of the MAP Award for Performance Improvement in Revenue Cycle, which recognizes healthcare organizations that demonstrate measurable improvement in MAP Keys—key performance indicators that set the standard for revenue cycle excellence in the healthcare industry. This year's winners have demonstrated enhanced financial performance through targeted improvement initiatives.
The winners of the 2013 MAP Award for Performance Improvement are:
- Blessing Hospital, Quincy, Ill.
- Columbia Basin Health Association, Othello, Wash.
- Copper Queen Community Hospital, Bisbee, Ariz.
- Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, Conn.
- Rochester General Health System, Rochester, N.Y.
- Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals, Columbia, S.C.

The award recipients will be honored during a special presentation at HFMA's MAP Event, to be held Oct. 27-29, 2013, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The MAP Award for Performance Improvement in Revenue Cycle is sponsored by Parallon Business Solutions.
