Andy Bressler, CFA

With certain aspects of healthcare reform being implemented on Oct. 1, this webinar addresses the status of this implementation, as well as the key upcoming healthcare regulatory and policy changes that Congress and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be addressing through the end of 2013. Congress will also address several major fiscal issues in the next several months, such as a Medicare physician payment fix to avoid a 24 percent payment cut in 2014, and budget issues, including the continued sequestration, and a looming debt ceiling expiration date.
As a Washington healthcare analyst, Mr. Bressler provides an overview and his outlook on these aspects of healthcare reform. He’ll discuss the effects of coverage expansion, Medicare payment reforms, and anticipated Congressional actions on a range of healthcare industry sectors, which includes hospitals and other providers, health insurers, and pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. His presentation will include an update on what changes to expect through the end of 2013 and into 2014.
