In December, we saw three requests for help posted on the LinkedIn HFMA Chapter Leaders Group:
Post: Does your chapter have a volunteer coordinator (VC) position? If yes, would you be willing to share the job description?
We heard from one chapter and that chapter president contacted the person who posted the request.
Post: The Washington-Alaska Chapter is looking for policies on reimbursing board members' travel expenses to attend educational meetings where there is a board meeting associated.
Two chapters responded with copies of their policies.
Post: Does your chapter have a student/early careerist on the board of directors?
Two chapters responded with very different approaches to this emerging resource.

Have a question or wonder how other chapters address an issue? Jump on the LinkedIn HFMA Chapter Leaders Group and join the conversation. Pose a question or share your chapter’s good practice.
