Boost your education hours now! HFMA programs are a great way to supplement the education programs your chapter offers. When a member of your chapter participates in a national HFMA program, your chapter earns DCMS education hours that count toward your education goal. Live HFMA programs also offer offer CPE credits for members. Access live and recorded on-demand webinars and eLearning Self-Study courses from your home or office. Most webinars are free to members, and e-learning courses offer exceptional value. On-Demand Webinars

HFMA provides webinars on-demand for one calendar year following the live webinar date and year. Check out HFMA's library of on-demand webinars that qualify for chapter education hours. Most on-demand webinars are free for members and several can be purchased for $49. Here's a sample of what's currently available:

eLearning Self-Study

HFMA also offers eLearning Self-Study for Individuals, including the Certified Revenue Cycle Representative, and Certified Technical Specialist courses and the Healthcare Finance Core Curriculum iPad app are  accessible anytime for up to six months or one year after purchase (Core Curriculum is unlimited). Courses range from one to 15 hours and from $49 to $400. New courses are added regularly, so check the schedule often.

Newsletter Self-Study

Newsletter self-study lessons are free to newsletter subscribers and are now eligible for CPE credit. Not yet a subscriber? Learn more and subscribe.

With self-study lessons, you can learn at your own pace with the flexibility to access lessons any time or any place. Just read the CPE-eligible lesson, go over the review sections, and complete a six-question final exam. You will receive a certificate of completion listing the courses you successfully finish and 1 CPE per completed course (plus 1 certification maintenance point, if applicable). 

Virtual Conference

Get a jump start on your national education hours. HFMA’s Virtual Conference includes live sessions and offers all new content. Earn up to 3 CPEs for attending the live presentations.Non-member registration includes an HFMA membership for those who are new to HFMA, so not only can you get a new member, you capture the education hours for that member, too.

Spring Seminars

These popular sessions provide timely strategies and metrics to help you keep pace with the changes reshaping American health care, while enhancing your professional development. Earn 7 hours of CPE per day up to a total of 21 CPE credits. Non-member registration includes an HFMA membership for those who are new to HFMA so not only can your chapter gain a new member, it will get the education hours for that member, too.

Value Summit

HFMA is offering a new and unique conference, March 17-18 in Chicago—The 2014 Value Summit.

This 2-day intense event complete with exercises, interactive 1:1 discussions, round tables all with the focus of developing a value transformation strategy that attendees can implement immediately. Then, your unique value transformation strategy will be reinforced and further developed with three follow up webinars (one per month) followed by a final capstone meeting at ANI. During the ANI capstone meeting, attendees will share their strategies, how they refined them as they were implementing, and what they learned along the way.

The audience for this conference is senior healthcare finance leaders, future C-suite leaders, high-performing mid level leaders who are potential "change agents," and leaders charged with advancing clinical collaboration.
