Leadership is more than moving your chapter to a passing score on the CBSC.

That's not to say that the skills that take you from planning to implementation aren't crucial skills for any manager. They are essential, but softer leadership skills are important too. 

Skills like learning to listen and both recognizing and understanding the differences between the ways people approach their work and their life.

This is the presentation chapter leaders have been asking for ever since that aha! moment at LTC several years ago when Cam Marston introduced us to the differences between the generations and why understanding how these different generations approach their work is a factor in the success or struggles of anyone who manages people.

Our half-day preconference session, "Leadership for Every Generation: Traditionalist, Baby Boomer, Generation X, Millennial," will be held Saturday, April 26 from 1-5 p.m. This program is presented by BridgeWorks—theGenerationsPeople—an internationally recognized multi-generational team of experts who present their  insights and solutions in an interactive format that promises to engage, amuse, and inform. We will have three presenters: a Boomer, a Millenial, and a Gen Xer.
