The pending transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10 requires considerable changes to business processes and technology throughout the healthcare industry. Revenue cycle operations is a critical area. This webinar focuses on the impact of ICD-10 on the areas of the revenue cycle most at risk—including Discharged Not Final Billed (DNFB), Cash Flow, and Reimbursement—and the current state of revenue cycle ICD-10 readiness within the industry.

This webinar also shares results of a recent survey conducted by HFMA with hospital CFOs and revenue cycle executives on the state of their ICD-10 readiness, current progress, challenges they have overcome, and mitigation plans to ensure the revenue cycle remains healthy during the ICD-10 transition period.

A panel of revenue cycle executives will provide commentary on the survey results and discuss industry implications. The panelists will also describe their organizations' current state of revenue cycle ICD-10 readiness as well as key challenges and accomplishments.

After This Webinar You'll Be Able To:

  • Understand the current status of revenue cycle leaders in preparing for the ICD-10 transition
