Your year as president is getting close. A little planning now will help you avoid May madness. The President and President-elect Toolkit is an essential component of seamless planning.

Order President Plaques/Pins

Start your new year right, not empty handed. Make sure you order your president's plaque or pin to present to your outgoing president. The order form for chapter president's plaques and pins is available in the President and President-elect toolkit under Other Frequently Asked Questions. Mail your completed order form to the address listed at the bottom of the form.

Queue Up Your Speeches and Presenters

Check out the Sample Speeches page link on the President and President-elect Toolkit to find templates you can customize for your presentation and a form to invite an HFMA officer to attend a meeting or installation of your chapter's officers:

If you are asking for an HFMA Officer or Regional Executive to officiate at your meeting, make arrangements early. Download and complete the HFMA Officer request form and return to Julie Caturano, Assistant to President. If you have any questions, please contact Julie at (800) 252-4362, ext. 304.

Regional Executives and/or Regional Executives-elect can also officiate at officer installations and can provide national HFMA updates. You can request your Regional Executive or Regional Executive-elect by contacting them directly.

Order Logo Wear or Chapter Awards for Your Chapter

It all starts with a logo. You can find logos on the Logos & Branding Guidelines page under National Office Resources. Here you'll find chapter and regional logos as well as the current Chair's theme and logo. This page will be updated with the 2012-13 Chair's logo and theme at the conclusion of LTC. (If you need a copy before LTC, contact chapter@hfma.org and ask for a copy of the 2012-13 Chair's logo.
