Please Note: 

  • HFMA Certification Exams will not be available on the third Saturday of each month due to QuestionMark Perception (the exam host site) system upgrades.
  • Only active HFMA members are eligible to take an exam.
  • Due to limited space, the HFMA National office (Westchester, IL) is not available for testing.

Register for an Exam through 12/31/2010

To register for an exam, submit a exam application (proctor name and a specific exam date must be included) with payment, at least 10 business days prior to the requested exam date. Applications received less than 10 business days prior to the exam date for charge card payment and 15 days prior to the exam day for payment by check, will be assessed an additional $25.00 expedite processing fee. Scheduling of exam dates requested less than one week prior to an exam date cannot be guaranteed.

After payment is processed and approximately three business days prior to the scheduled exam, each the candidate and the designated proctor will receive an email with a unique password that is valid only for the exam date.

Phone registrations are NOT accepted for exams. An exam application must be submitted with payment, as indicated on the form.
