Chicago – June 30, 2015 – The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) recently reviewed the AMN Healthcare Managed Services Program (MSP) using the Peer Review process. After undergoing the rigorous review, the AMN Healthcare MSP has been awarded the “Peer Reviewed by HFMA designation.

The AMN Healthcare MSP provides hospitals and health systems with an integrated approach to strategic workforce management that includes predictive modeling and forecasting, management of vendors and contracts, in-house staffing pools, candidate sourcing and selection, timekeeping, billing, continuing education, and all related workforce processes. Through the AMN Healthcare MSP, healthcare organizations gain a single point of contact for all workforce vendors and contractors, plus the healthcare workforce strategies needed to enhance financial, operational, and clinical performance.

“The HFMA Peer Review designation affirms that the AMN Healthcare MSP helps healthcare providers strategically manage dozens of vendors and contracts so that our provider clients can focus their attention on the most important task: excellence in patient care,” said Susan Salka, AMN Healthcare President and CEO. “The AMN Healthcare MSP reduces costs in managing contingent labor while improving fill rates, increasing candidate quality, and reducing overtime.”

HFMA's Peer Review process provides healthcare financial managers with an objective, third-party evaluation of business solutions used in the healthcare workplace. The rigorous, 11-step process includes a Peer Review panel review comprised of current customers, prospects who have not made a purchase, and industry experts. The Peer Review status of the healthcare business solution and its performance claims are based on effectiveness, quality and usability, price, value, and customer and technical support.

“We’re pleased to have AMN Healthcare achieve their HFMA Peer Reviewed designation,” says HFMA President and CEO Joseph J. Fifer, FHFMA, CPA. “The HFMA Peer Review process assures our members, through a rigorous evaluation, that the reviewed healthcare business solution meets an objective, third-party assessment of overall effectiveness, quality, and value."
