Formal comments to lawmakers and regulators is one way that HFMA educates policymakers on the realities of maintaining fiscally healthy healthcare organizations. HFMA submits these comments on a wide variety of issues.
HFMA also co-signs “coalition letters” with other healthcare organizations to demonstrate widespread support for a particular issue. Through collaboration with other healthcare associations we also help ensure that the healthcare finance perceptive is incorporated into the efforts of other associations.
