Chicago - February 1, 2007 – HFMA's President/CEO,  Richard L. Clarke, DHA, FHFMA, appears on NBC Nightly News to talk about medical debt. 36 million Americans carry some amount of medical debt and much of it is being placed on credit cards. This places hospitals and patients at risk.
