designation is a smart career move for anyone, and Sunday’s
National Coaching Course will help you prepare for
the certification exam. In the Core Review session, you’ll
learn what content areas are covered in the Core self-study course and how to best use the certification study
guide materials to prepare for the corresponding Core exam.

of the HFMA certification specialty areas: Accounting and
Finance, Physician Practice Management, Managed Care or
Patient Financial Services. You’ll also learn how to best use
the certification study guide materials to prepare for the corresponding Specialty exam.

networking with other 2008 ANI attendees after the Opening

HFMA Certification Exams

These Internet-based certification exams are available for
HFMA members. Secure your spot by signing up in advance via
the registration form. Walk-ins will be accepted on a
space-available basis. HFMA will call registrants to
schedule exam time.

Annual Chairman’s Reception and Banquet

The Annual Chairman’s Reception and Banquet is always one of
the most memorable times at ANI. Enjoy dinner and dancing and
be of a part of the installation of HFMA’s new Board of
Directors and the presentation of the Frederick C. Morgan
Individual Achievement Award, the Association’s highest honor
for career-long contributions to healthcare financial
management and HFMA.
Friday Events
Golf Outing
6:15 am - 1:30 pm
HFMA's Friday Golf Outing will be held at TPC at the
Canyons. This event is free to any senior-level provider
wishing to participate; vendors may participate for a fee.
The bus will depart from the Mandalay Bay Convention Center
at 6:15 am for a 7:30 am shotgun start. Estimated return
time is 1:30 pm. TPC at the Canyons has been the home of the
Las Vegas Senior Classic since 1996. Designed by Bobby Weed
and Raymond Floyd, the course was designed to incorporate
its dramatic desert surroundings and provides striking views
of the city of Las Vegas and Red Rock Canyon National
Conservation Area. Please register by June 1 by checking the
appropriate box(es) on the registration form.
