Thank you for joining the Healthcare Compliance Forum Community. We want to help you make the most of your experience while participating in the community, so we have pulled together some “must-do’s” to help you as you begin your subscription.
Participate. The focus of the Forums is to create opportunities for peer interaction. Clearly, you cannot benefit from these opportunities unless you participate in them. Peer interaction is realized in a number of ways including:
- Member Directory: Reach out to colleagues and enhance your networks
- Healthcare Compliance List Serve: Join the list serve and share with others about issues important to you
- Free Forums Audio Webcasts: Most of these periodic events have a peer interaction component included to discuss your learning with your peers. Be sure to participate fully, and offer your expertise on these calls. You never know what content you might be able to use, or expertise you can call upon when needed. Check the audio webcast calendar throughout the year and look for programs marked "Free for Forum Members Only". No coupons are required for free audio webcasts.
- Roundtable networking events: When you attend ANI or other larger HFMA National conferences, you are eligible to participate in Forum Members Only events and programs. Come prepared to meet and share with others. You just might meet your next boss, or next all-star employee across the table.
- Contribute to publications: Quarterly Insights publications feature real contributions from real participants, so you can put your name in front of thousands of your peers with your genuine insight on issues that matter. You can also gain the collective insights of your peers by reading each of the four publications that come out per membership year. Look for Update communications throughout the year to learn more about your opportunities to participate in an upcoming publication.
- Contribute to resources or projects: The Forum web sites feature a number of articles, presentations and other samples contributed by members of the community. Step up if you have a resource to share, or can contribute to the collections.
