The Medicare recovery audit contractor for Region A, Diversified Collection Services, has initiated automatic audits of selected Medicare claims for durable medical equipment. The Region A states are Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
