The FY10 Skilled Nursing Facility PPS Payment Update Final Rule Fact Sheet provides information about key provisions of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) final rule updating Medicare payment rates under the prospective payment system to skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) for FY10, which was published by CMS on Aug. 11. The payment rates are applicable for services provided by SNFs beginning October 1, 2009.
