5. What should I do if the format of the newsletter as it appears on my computer screen is difficult to read?
The way the newsletter appears on your screen has to do with the way your viewing preferences are set. For example:
- If you receive the e-mail in plain text and the line breaks look funny, then look for a function called "word wrap" or "line break" in your e-mail program.
- If you can only see a portion of the newsletter, try setting your e-mail preferences to accept HTML e-mail.
- If the font looks unusually large or small, try adjusting the "Fonts" setting under the "view" menu in your e-mail program.
Another thing that can distort the format of the newsletter is if you're receiving a forwarded copy from someone. Since HFMA Wants You to Know is a free service, you are welcome to subscribe (see the on-line subscription form).

6. Can I chose the format my newsletter comes in?
Our delivery system is set up to automatically send HFMA Wants You To Know in HTML format to systems that accept HTML and in text format to systems that don't accept HTML.
If you are receiving the HTML version, and are having difficulty with viewing, you may change your setting to view HTML format or we can change a setting in our system, to set your email address to receive all of HFMA National emails in text format.
If you prefer the text format vs what is automatically delivered to you, please send an e-mail request to hfmawytk@hfma.org.

7. Why can't I see the images in the newsletter?
To view all the graphic images in HFMA Wants You to Know, you need to open the newsletter while you are connected to the Internet. This is because to keep the file size of our e-mails small, we save the image files on HFMA's servers.

8. Why am I receiving duplicate e-mails?
On rare occasion, we’ll make a mistake or our e-mail vendor’s system will have a bug that causes multiple e-mail deliveries. You’ll know these instances because in those instances we’ll inform you of the system problem and what we are doing to correct it.
You could also receive duplicate e-mails if your server is overloaded. These multiple messages are caused when the receiving mail server times out during a mailing, and the sending server tries to send the message again.
