Join us in congratulating both the Florida and the Maryland chapters in earning the highest honor for chapters. The Robert M. Shelton Award for Sustained Chapter Excellence is presented each year to the chapter judged as displaying exemplary service to members over a sustained period of the immediate past five years.
There are no limits to the number of chapters that may win this award.
Judging the Shelton is always tough, but this year the results were so close that the judges selected two chapters for the award for only the third time since the award’s inauguration in 1980.
Chapters can also access a list of Helen M. Yerger Special Recognition Award winners from the Chapter Awards page on the Chapter Leaders website.
A complete list of awards, including the C. Henry Hottum Awards and Awards of Excellence for Improved Chapter Performance, Education, Certification, Membership Growth and Retention will be posted to the Chapter Awards site following the Chapter Presidents Dinner in June.
Winners of all chapter awards will be recognized at the Annual Chapter Presidents Dinner and Meeting during the Annual National Institute (ANI) in June.
