MACRA is a game changer.  Very soon, providers will be reimbursed differently for the same services provided to Medicare beneficiaries based on performance in the Quality Payment Program (QPP).  Healthcare organizations can chart a clear path to success in the QPP by preparing proactively. This workshop will provide a comprehensive foundation for healthcare organizations to better understand MACRA,  identify key data relevant to defining a MACRA strategy, and define actions to take to identify measures to report under each QPP category.

After This Seminar, You'll Be Able To:

  • Discover tactical steps to take today to position for success in the QPP
  • Define key elements of each QPP category and create a practical strategy to prepare for the QPP
  • Summarize how information in legacy Part B quality programs can be utilized to optimize performance in the QPP
  • Connect MACRA strategy to broader organizational initiatives and strategic plan (i.e., revenue cycle, clinical documentation and coding, payer contracting, physician compensation and more)
  • Understand  potential economic impact of the QPP relative to MIPS and AAPM paths
  • Define how Quality and Resource Use Reports (QRURs) can be used in defining an effective pathway in the QPP
  • Identify CPT code billing opportunities leveraging QPP measure recommendations to increase practice revenue
  • Define core elements of HCC coding including risk adjustment coding guidelines
  • Describe alternative payment models and understand key components
