The Officers for the WY Chapter of HFMA consists of the President, President-Elect, Secretary-Treasurer and the Past-President. Each year in January the Chapter membership elects a new Secretary-Treasurer. After serving one year in that office, the Secretary-Treasurer becomes the President-Elect, and the following year becomes the President. Thus election to the Secretary-Treasuer office constitues a 4-year commitment to hold each succeeding office in the Chapter. In addition, the President-Elect serves at the program chair.
The Chapter has five Board of Directors, each elected for 3 year terms, who share voting rights with the four Officer positions. New Board members are elected each January by Chapter members to replace any outgoing Board members.
In addition, there are numerous Committee Chairs who oversee specific aspects of Chapter business, such as Membership, Sponsorship and Certification.
