You will receive an email notification from Credly ([email protected]) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account within an hour of successful completion of the program assessment (for applicable programs only).

If you’re issued an HFMA digital badge and receive an email notification, follow the instructions in the email to create an account with Credly and claim your badge. Or follow the step-by-step tutorial here.
If you have not received your badge notification email from Credly’s platform, please work with your IT department to add [email protected] as a trusted sender. Additionally, please make sure to check your junk or spam folders. Please know that you are able to accept your digital badge from HFMA outside of an email notification. You may create an account or login directly on the Credly platform with the email you have on file with HFMA. After successfully logging in, your badge(s) will be waiting for you in your Dashboard to accept and share.

To share your badge details to your LinkedIn profile follow these steps. Add to your Profile to make your accomplishment a permanent part of your online resume. Your achievement will populate within the License & Credential section of your profile. You may also share to your Newsfeed, the badge image will appear and your contacts can comment on the post.

Yes, you can download your badge from the Share Badge page. Your downloaded badge contains Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) compliant metadata embedded into the image. This allows you to store your badge on other OBI-compliant badge sites, such as the Mozilla backpack.
