Avoiding Surprises in Your Medical Bills

Surprise out-of-network medical bills are a top concern of American consumers today. This guide helps consumers understand the questions they should ask to avoid receiving an unexpected medical bill. The guide was developed in collaboration with the American Hospital Association and America's Health Insurance Plans. The American Medical Association also provided input.
