Under his financial management, Sarasota Memorial accomplished the largest expansion in its nearly 100 years — opening a new hospital in Venice, Florida, and an oncology tower in Sarasota and embarking on critically needed behavioral health and outpatient oncology pavilions, all while navigating escalating costs and supply and staffing challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Bill has been an invaluable member of our leadership team whose contributions have strengthened our health system and benefitted our entire community,” said David Verinder, president and CEO of Sarasota Memorial.
