2017 Compensation Survey Results

The compensation study was designed and conducted by HFMA.

A sample of 6,600 HFMA members was included in the 2017 compensation survey and 1,640 valid responses were received. The overall response rate is 25 percent. All of the respondents work in hospitals and healthcare systems.

  • All respondents are HFMA members.
  • All respondents were guaranteed confidentiality.
  • Compensation includes base salary and bonus or profit sharing.
