I feel so very proud and honored to serve as your chapter President in these unique and challenging times. I am grateful to be following in the footsteps of Samantha Brodt who fearlessly led our team last year during the most uncertain and daunting time most of us will hopefully ever experience. While we see light at the end of the very long tunnel we all entered last year, we know we need to remain nimble, creative, and engaged to ensure we continue to meet your needs, bring new insight and expand our offerings.
Nationally and locally, the HFMA theme of this year is Bolder, Brighter, Better. We are fortunate to have a 2021 – 2022 Board and a team of volunteers made up of professionals from hospitals, health systems, physician practices, health plans, and business partners to drive our efforts forward. It’s a dedicated and broad mix of professionals committed to continuing our quest to bring guidance and tools needed to help our respective organizations, industry, and HFMA community thrive and succeed.
We remain focused on adapting to change while enhancing the value of your HFMA membership. My commitment is to continue to encourage out-of-the-box thinking and foster collaboration, innovation, and creativity. I look forward to serving you, embracing new opportunities, and evolving in this dynamic and ever-changing environment.
