President's Welcome

Thank You

I wanted to take a moment and thank our members for their ongoing support during the past year.  Your engagement throughout this past year has been amazing. Our members are truly what makes Oregon HFMA such an amazing chapter and I am honored to be your president.

I would also like to thank our vendor partners for their continued support of the chapter. We could not do all the amazing things for our chapter without your support. Thank you! We hope that you find continued value in the sponsorship opportunities and engagement within the chapter.  We are so thankful to have you as part of our Oregon HFMA family.

This past year has been a year like no other. With the pandemic thrust upon us, the chapter quickly pivoted to virtual conferences that provided Oregon HFMA members with ongoing, quality education and networking events.   The speed and precision of the chapter members in making this transition was incredible to watch. I’d personally like to thank everyone involved in making these conferences and events a reality.

What's Coming in 2021-2022

We have some exciting changes for the chapter. We will be moving to a new website. The goal is to integrate our chapter information with the “Associations” information to provide you with a similar look and feel and better experience. We hope you will check out the new website and find it easy to use.  The URL remains the same:  www.oregonhfma.org.

I am excited to announce that we will be back in person at our October 2021 conference. We hope you can join us for a lot of fun and spectacular education. As always, the chapter will continue to live stream conferences for those members who prefer to attend the conference virtually.

In February 2022, the chapter will be holding its first Enterprise workshop in Portland. We hope our valued Enterprise members can attend this in person conference for some great education, fun activities, and amazing networking opportunities.

COVID-19

Oregon HFMA’s Board of Directors continues to monitor the pandemic. Your health and safety continue to be our top priority. If the need arises, we will make the decision to cancel the in-person conferences / events and move back to a virtual model. Please stay tuned on the chapter website for any future announcements.

We wish everyone good health and look forward to seeing you all soon.

Tammie Coon
Oregon Chapter President.
