President’s Welcome

Dear HFMA Southern California Chapter Members and Friends,
Welcome to another exciting year with the HFMA Southern California Chapter!
I am honored and privileged to serve as your Chapter President, and I am excited about the momentum, energy, and opportunities ahead for our members. Our chapter remains a vibrant community that brings together professionals committed not only to advancing their careers but also to building meaningful connections and lasting friendships.
This year, we have an outstanding lineup of educational programs designed to keep you informed, inspired, and engaged, including the upcoming Fall Conference, CFO Roundtable, Revenue Cycle Roundtable, Winter and Spring 2027 Conferences, and a series of certification bootcamps. Just as importantly, we are committed to creating opportunities for members to build meaningful relationships through social events, including A Fun Day at Del Mar Race Track, the Pickleball Tournament, an evening at the Magic Castle, and a holiday celebration at City Club LA.
Our just-concluded, sold-out 2026 Women’s Disruptive Leadership Summit on July 30 was another resounding success. And everyone enjoyed a fun day at the sold-out Del Mar Racetrack on August 9, hosted by our chapter and our sister chapter, San Diego-Imperial.
These events reflect what makes our chapter special: a strong professional network built on both learning and community.
As we continue to grow, we need more members to get involved. Our chapter’s success depends on volunteers who bring their ideas, talents, and enthusiasm to help shape our programs and enhance the member experience. Whether you’re a longtime member or new to HFMA, I encourage you to volunteer, join a committee, and become part of our leadership team.
Thank you for being part of the HFMA Southern California Chapter. I look forward to seeing you at our programs, social events, and volunteer activities throughout the year.
Let’s Attend. Connect. Volunteer. Lead.
Mahalo!
