President’s Welcome

Dear HFMA Texas Gulf Coast Members,

It is an incredible honor to serve as your incoming President for the HFMA Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. As I begin this journey, I am filled with gratitude, excitement, and deep appreciation for the people who make this chapter so special.

I am fortunate to be surrounded by an amazing team of leaders, volunteers, sponsors, and members who continuously invest their time and energy into making our chapter successful. Together, we have an exciting year ahead filled with meaningful educational opportunities, valuable networking events, community involvement, and opportunities to build lasting professional relationships.

My theme this year is “Choose Impact.”

To me, choosing impact means making every action count. It means asking ourselves, What will create the greatest value? What will make the biggest difference? Then focusing our time, energy, and resources there. Every one of us has the ability to create impact. It’s defined by the value we bring to others, the relationships we build, the knowledge we share, and the positive influence we have on our organizations and communities.

As a chapter, our goal is to continue building on last year’s momentum. We will focus on delivering value to our members, helping them navigate and leverage HFMA resources, expanding sponsorship opportunities, strengthening engagement across our membership, and extending our reach throughout the greater Houston metropolitan area.

I’m always excited to see familiar faces at our events, but I am really hoping to meet new members and welcome new voices into our HFMA family. This is a fun team, and I encourage everyone to get involved, attend an event, volunteer, or make that first introduction to connect.

Thank you for allowing me the privilege of serving this chapter. I am excited for what we will accomplish and look forward to a year of impact.
