Live Webinar

Date: Tuesday, December 08, 2026, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM CST

Most EMRs weren’t built to answer utilization management’s (UM) hardest question: where should my team focus right now? Relying on the EMR alone, or on static criteria tools, often means retrospective reports, not real-time AI insight. In this session, we’ll show how two health systems used AI-driven predictive analytics and UM-specific reporting to sharpen observation rate management, denial prevention, and case review, freeing UR nurses and physician advisors for the cases that needed them most. You’ll also hear how objective, shared data reshaped payer conversations, and how generative AI is creating new efficiencies in documentation and case review that improve revenue cycle throughput.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn how AI-driven insights can drive strategic optimization across observation rate management, denial management, and unnecessary case review reduction
  • Understand how leveraging objective data and insights can foster stronger payer collaboration, allowing health systems and payers to focus on other priorities rather than the administrative burden of the concurrent authorization process.
  • Examine how generative AI can be used in the UM process to drive further efficiencies and improve revenue cycle throughput.
