President’s Welcome

Greetings Rochester HFMA Members, 

The last two years have brought so many challenges and changes to our professional and personal lives. The workplace has transformed to where many of you are working from home, participating in virtual meetings and experiencing significantly less in-person interaction.

During this time, our chapter leadership explored what the future looks.  We brought virtual education to our members and took part in hybrid events.  Our goal for the new year is to continue to embrace this change and make this part of our ongoing educational offerings. In addition to virtual events, we will be bringing back in-person learning. We intend to collaborate with other organizations to provide in-depth and relevant topics. 

I have the privilege of working with strong leaders representing our board.  With their leadership, our team is ready to work for you, our members.  It is our commitment to you that we will continue to work hard to help grow our chapter and continuously improve each year.  I’d like to thank our board members for their dedication and countless hours of service.  In addition, I’d like to recognize Ryan McGinnis for his leadership and support over the last two years as our Chapter President. He guided us through these unprecedented times with a new way to provide the education and networking that our chapter desires.

It is an honor to serve as your Chapter President for the 2022-2023 year and on behalf of the Rochester Regional board, we would like to thank you for your continued support and engagement within HFMA.  We are looking forward to a wonderful year and seeing everyone soon!
