President’s Welcome

Dear Alabama HFMA Members,

It is an incredible honor to serve as your Alabama HFMA President. As we begin this new chapter together, I want to thank each of you for your continued commitment to our association, our profession, and one another.

This year’s theme, Strong Foundation. Bold Collaboration., reflects both where we’ve been and where we’re headed. Throughout the coming year, we will honor the fundamentals and legacy that have shaped healthcare finance while strengthening collaboration among providers, payers, business partners, and all those who work to improve the healthcare experience. By returning to our core principles, sharing our expertise, and working together with purpose, we will prepare ourselves and our organizations for the future of healthcare finance leadership.

Healthcare continues to change at a remarkable pace, but one thing remains constant: the strength of our profession comes from the people who are willing to learn, collaborate, and lead. Whether you are a longtime HFMA member or are just beginning your journey with our chapter, I encourage you to get involved. Attend an educational event, join a committee, mentor a colleague, expand your professional network, and share your unique perspective. Your participation is what makes our chapter stronger.

I am excited about what we will accomplish together this year. By building on our strong foundation and embracing bold collaboration, we can create lasting value for our members, our organizations, and the patients and communities we ultimately serve.
