President’s Welcome

Welcome to the 2024 – 2025 HFMA-Florida chapter year. It is an honor and privilege to serve as president representing the incredible group of healthcare finance professionals that make up our chapter. We have grown to almost 10,000 members and represent approximately 10% of the entire association membership! I want to thank you all for your passion and never ending dedication to our industry and this chapter.

I chose “One Team, One Dream” as the theme for this year. I truly believe if we all work together, we can accomplish our goals and provide quality healthcare for all patients while ensuring the proper reimbursement is received from our payors. One of my top goals this year is to make sure each of you find value in your membership and the Florida HFMA leadership team will continue do everything in our power to ensure you have the educational and networking resources you need.

I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our sponsors. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to host the wonderful events that we hold throughout the year. I would also like to thank the outgoing president, Natalie Billo and the board of directors / volunteers of this chapter. Your commitment and hard work are the reason we’ve been so successful through the years and I give all of you my sincere love and appreciation.

I am truly humbled to serve as your president and I look forward to the coming year of growth, education and networking opportunities. Let’s make 2024-2025 unforgettable and the best year yet!
