Veronica Roth is beginning her second year in the Master of Health Administration program at The Ohio State University College of Public Health. Veronica has gained experience in the healthcare industry from working in a nursing home kitchen in high school to her Administrative Residency within OhioHealth’s Neuroscience Service Line. This experience combined with her coursework and HFMA involvement has strengthened her love for the field. She appreciates all the different parts that health information management/administration can impact and help improve. She is looking forward to continuing to learn more through completing graduate school and continued HFMA involvement. Being around health professionals personally and professionally pushes her to keep working on growing her knowledge in all aspects of healthcare. HFMA has encouraged this desire through networking, events, and certification opportunities. In her spare time, Veronica likes to draw and paint, exercise, bake, and spend time with friends/family. Allison Williams is an MHA student at The Ohio State University, with an anticipated graduation in May 2023. Allison is a double Buckeye, as she also attended Ohio State for her undergraduate degree in Health Information Management and Systems (2021). Over the past four years, Allison has held multiple part-time positions and internships at several organizations within central Ohio, where she gained valuable experiences in healthcare. Currently, she is completing her administrative residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Planning and Business Development, and in the fall, she will return to The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center as a Graduate Research Associate for the remainder of the time before she graduates. Allison has a strong interest in operations and performance improvement, and she is excited to bring her education and experience to the healthcare industry following graduation.
As one of the prior leaders of the Student Leadership Committee, she will now be leading student programming. Her favorite part of HFMA is the events and connections available to members; it has been one of the most invaluable and beneficial experiences as a young professional.

Eddie graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s in Health, Science, and Risk Communication in 2016 and is entering his second year as an MHA student. Following graduation, he worked in fundraising at COSI – Center for Science and Industry, before a marketing and business development career for an international architecture firm that focused on healthcare design. He decided to return to OSU to pursue his Master’s to make an impact on patient care after being exposed to hospital leadership and administration in the architecture industry. Outside the program, Eddie serves as Fundraising Chair for Association for Future Healthcare Executives and as a NextGen Ambassador for The James. Eddie is looking forward to starting a career in department and service-line administration at an academic medical center following the program. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, visiting local restaurants and breweries, biking, and running.

Case Western Reserve School of Law

Andrew is commencing his legal career as a 1L at Case Western Reserve School of Law after graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s in Health Information Management and Systems. During his time at Ohio State, he gained a variety of experiences working for the Ohio Governor’s Office, an immigration law firm, and in-house counsel at an insurance company. Coupling these involvements with his educational interests, Andrew looks to pursue a career specializing in healthcare finance law at a hospital system or law firm in Ohio. HFMA has heightened his desire to grow professionally and academically within the Ohio community. He is excited to have to opportunity to share this inclination in the recruitment of other young students and professionals to the organization. Recently, Andrew has taken up backpacking, and looks to hike at all sixty-three United States national parks before the age of forty.
