First Illinois Chapter HFMA Scholarship Program

We’re excited to announce the 20th Annual Scholarship Program for First Illinois Chapter HFMA members and their children pursuing higher education!

This year, we’re awarding five scholarships:

• $5,000 (1 recipient)
• $4,000 (1 recipient)
• $2,000 (3 recipients)

Application Deadline: March 31, 2026
Awards Announced: By May 30, 2026

Eligibility:

• High school seniors or undergraduate students attending an accredited college, university, or trade school
• U.S. citizens
• First Illinois Chapter HFMA members and their children
• Recognized Early Careerists associated with the First Illinois Chapter HFMA
• One scholarship per student, lifetime

Application Requirements:

• Completed application
• Faculty recommendation letter
• Two reference letters
• Essay/testimonial
• Academic transcripts
• An interview with the Selection Committee
