Message from Our Regional Executive
Welcome to HFMA Region 7!
It is an honor and a privilege to welcome you to HFMA Region 7. I am excited to serve as your Regional Executive and look forward to working alongside our chapter leaders, volunteers, and members throughout the region.
HFMA has been an important part of my professional journey for more than 20 years. Through my involvement at the chapter, regional, and national levels, I have experienced firsthand the value of this organization—not only in advancing healthcare finance, but also in creating opportunities to learn, lead, connect, and grow.
As we look ahead, I am committed to supporting our chapters and volunteers, strengthening collaboration across the region, and creating opportunities for our members to engage with one another and expand their professional knowledge. The healthcare environment continues to evolve, and the role of healthcare finance professionals has never been more important. Together, we have an opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another, and help shape the future of our profession.
I encourage each of you to take advantage of the many opportunities HFMA provides—whether through education, networking, volunteer leadership, professional development, or simply connecting with colleagues across the region. Thank you for your commitment to HFMA and to the healthcare finance profession. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Region 7 and look forward to an exciting year ahead. I hope to meet many of you along the way and hear about your experiences, successes, and ideas for the future.
A special thank you to Brian Pavona, Immediate Past Regional Executive for Region 7, for his exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment, and generous mentorship. His guidance and dedication have helped strengthen our region and position us for continued success. I especially appreciate Brian’s continued dedication to Region 7 and his willingness to remain engaged and involved even after completing his term.
I am also grateful for the ongoing partnership and collaboration of Kara McAdam, Regional Executive 2, and Katie White, Regional Executive 3. Your leadership, perspective, and commitment to our members are invaluable, and I look forward to continuing to work together to advance our shared goals and strengthen HFMA across our regions.
