President’s Welcome

Hello out there!

My name is Matt Clark and I am honored and humbled to serve as the HFMA Wisconsin President for Chapter Year 2023-2024. We have a great leadership team here in Wisconsin and I look forward to continuing the great work of the last few years with those dedicated folks and new volunteers and, of course, our amazing members.

This year, I look forward to using our motto for Wisconsin of “Now We Go” as a guiding principle. This message goes hand in hand with the National theme of “It’s Time” presented by our 2023-2024 National Chair, Dennis Dahlen. As an organization that specializes in healthcare finance, we play an integral role in changing healthcare for the better and now is the time to do that. At your organization, please think about how costs can be reduced, patients can receive better access to care, and the best ways to reinvest in the industry. Act on those things that make sense to help move healthcare and your own organization forward. At HFMA Wisconsin, we will work to support you through education and networking opportunities among other means and resources.

In addition to moving the healthcare and healthcare finance industry forward, the board is here to serve you. We are happy to help with questions or opportunities and we can connect you to information about education, certification, and many of the other benefits included with your membership.
