President’s Welcome

Chapter Members and Friends,
Welcome to another exciting year with the Indiana Pressler Memorial HFMA Chapter!
As I begin my second year serving as your Chapter President, I am filled with gratitude, optimism, and a renewed sense of purpose. It is truly an honor to continue this journey alongside our dedicated Board of Directors, volunteers, sponsors, and members who make this chapter one of the strongest and most engaged communities in healthcare finance.
Over the past year, we have continued to strengthen our foundation through meaningful education, valuable networking opportunities, volunteer engagement, and leadership development. Those accomplishments are a direct reflection of the commitment, passion, and expertise of our members. Thank you for your continued support and for making Indiana HFMA a chapter that leads by example.
This year, we are inspired by HFMA National Chair Matt Cox’s theme: Dare to Solve.
Healthcare continues to face unprecedented challenges—from financial pressures and workforce shortages to rapidly evolving technology and regulatory complexity. Yet within every challenge lies an opportunity. The Dare to Solve theme reminds us that progress happens when we move beyond identifying problems and commit to finding solutions together.
As healthcare finance professionals, we are uniquely positioned to lead meaningful change. We dare to solve when we collaborate across disciplines, share innovative ideas, mentor future leaders, and challenge ourselves to think differently about the future of healthcare. We dare to solve when we bring diverse perspectives to the table and work together to improve outcomes for our organizations, our patients, and our communities.
This year, our chapter will continue to focus on delivering timely, relevant, and actionable education that equips members to navigate an ever-changing healthcare environment. We will create opportunities for thought leadership, encourage meaningful conversations around today’s most pressing challenges, and provide resources that help our members turn ideas into action.
We also remain committed to strengthening connections across our membership. Whether you are a seasoned executive, a new healthcare professional, a student exploring career opportunities, or one of our valued business partners, there is a place for you in Indiana HFMA. By fostering collaboration, mentorship, and engagement, we can build a stronger future together. #youbelonghere
To our volunteers, thank you for your willingness to serve. Your dedication is the heartbeat of this chapter. Every committee meeting, educational event, networking opportunity, and member interaction is made possible because of your efforts. Your leadership continues to shape the success of our chapter and the experience of our members.
To our sponsors and corporate partners, thank you for your continued investment in our mission. Your support allows us to provide high-quality programming and meaningful experiences while bringing valuable expertise and perspective to our members. We are grateful for your partnership and the role you play in our chapter’s success.
And to our members, thank you for your trust, engagement, and commitment to this profession. You are the reason we exist and the inspiration behind everything we do. Together, we have the opportunity to not only respond to change but to lead it.
As we begin this new chapter year, I invite each of you to embrace the challenge to Dare to Solve. Dare to ask questions. Dare to share ideas. Dare to lead. Dare to mentor. Dare to innovate. Most importantly, dare to be part of the solutions that will shape the future of healthcare.
I am excited about what we will accomplish together and look forward to another impactful year of learning, leadership, and connection.
Thank you for your continued support of the Indiana Pressler Memorial HFMA Chapter.
Together, let’s Dare to Solve.
Warm regards,
Tashia Lindvall-Day
2027-2028 President
