President’s Welcome
Dear HFMA Empire New York Members,
It is with sincere gratitude and excitement that I step into this chapter year with you. HFMA Empire New York represents a powerful community of healthcare finance professionals across our state—colleagues, partners, mentors, and emerging leaders who bring experience, energy, and purpose to the work we do every day.
This year, our theme is “Ignite the Force, Drive the Change.” To me, this theme reflects both the strength of our chapter and the opportunity ahead. We advocate best when we lead the conversation, strengthen decisions, and translate collaboration into meaningful outcomes for healthcare organizations, patients, and the communities we serve.
Our chapter success plan is built around that same spirit of action. Our leadership team will focus on growing and supporting members, creating clearer pathways for new volunteers, and strengthening mentorship so the next generation of healthcare finance leaders feel welcomed and prepared. We will continue to support volunteer engagement through more consistent communication, acting on feedback, and affording opportunities that make it easier for members to contribute their time and talents.
We aim to provide meaningful education that connects all healthcare providers in practical ways. Just as important as the information we’ll share, we will keep bringing people together. Whether through education, networking events, or sponsors partnerships, our chapter will remain a place where healthcare finance colleagues can connect, learn, share ideas, and support one another. It’s the relationships I’ve built within this chapter that led me here, and I am incredibly thankful for them.
I’m looking forward to serving our chapter and continuing the work our past leaders have set in motion.
