Greater Heartland Chapter

Welcome to Greater Heartland Chapter

President’s Farewell

As I reflect on my tenor as HFMA Greater Heartland Chapter President, I am proud to have had the opportunity to serve our members by providing valuable education, networking opportunities, and fostering lasting friendships within the community of Healthcare Finance and Revenue Cycle Management.

We kicked off with HFMA Association Leadership Training in San Antonio and then HFMA Greater Heartland Chapter Mini LTC at the Camden on the Lake of the Ozarks Resort. Our journey was marked by the “Huddle Up’ phrase, where teams collaborated to strategize and prepare for their volunteer roles, followed by the “Game On’ phrase on event day.

Together, we assembled and trained many volunteer roles, including five teams dedicated to new program initiatives. Additionally, we enhanced the volunteer benefits to encourage and say thank you for your volunteerism.

We submitted three Success Awards to the HFMA Association for consideration and were overjoyed to have won first place for our submission in the Innovation Category entitled: “Innovate, Engage, Connect: Elevating Member Experience through the Member Engagement Booth”. And then won 3rd place in the Value Category entitled: “The Revitalization and Creation of Emerging Connections”. In addition, we received recognition for “Compassion in Action” certificate.

On the local chapter level, I wanted to express my gratitude to each and every volunteer who has put in countless hours to make our chapter successful. Your hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed and enabled the chapter to give multiple Awards and Recognitions during a celebration ceremony.

A few of the highlights were Paul Knudtson receiving the “MVP” for his volunteerism serving as Sponsorship chair, Nicole Stokes received the “Rookie of the Year”, and Paula Littleton received the “Presidents Award for Excellence in Leadership”.

As I step down from my role as president, I am filled with a sense of pride and satisfaction. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and the chapter throughout my tenor. I will always cherish the memories we have created together,

I look forward to seeing the continued success of the HFMA Greater Heartland Chapter in the years to come.

Thank you for allowing me to serve as your president and for the opportunity to work alongside such remarkable group of individuals.

Sincerely, Connie Warnat
