President’s Welcome

Dear Members and Future Members,

As I begin my term as President of the HFMA Northeast Ohio Chapter, I am excited about the momentum we have built and the opportunities ahead. Our chapter continues to evolve, creating new ways to deliver value, foster connections, and support healthcare finance professionals across Northeast Ohio.

This past year marked an important milestone as we successfully reimagined our long-standing spring conference. What was once known as “Super PFS” has evolved into the Healthcare Finance Forum, a broader event designed to address all facets of healthcare finance. The inaugural Forum in March 2026 sold out, confirming the demand for high-quality education and networking across the healthcare finance community. In fact, attendance was so strong that we are already exploring larger venues for 2027.

We are also proud to see our Cleveland Guardians networking outing become an annual tradition. What started as a new event has quickly become one of our most popular opportunities to connect with colleagues and industry partners. We look forward to continuing that tradition on August 20th.

Our focus remains simple: creating meaningful value for our members. Whether you are an emerging healthcare finance professional or a seasoned executive, we are committed to providing educational programming, networking opportunities, and leadership experiences that support your growth and success.

Looking ahead, we are eager to strengthen relationships with neighboring HFMA chapters and create more opportunities for regional collaboration. One of the biggest opportunities ahead is the upcoming Region 6 HFMA Conference in Grand Rapids this September, which will bring together healthcare finance leaders from across Ohio and Michigan.

As our chapter continues to build momentum and grow, we welcome members interested in becoming more involved. The strength of our organization comes from the engagement, leadership, and passion of volunteers who help shape our chapter’s future.

The future of our chapter is bright. With strong member engagement, innovative programming, and exciting opportunities on the horizon, we are well-positioned for another successful year.
