Dear Virginia-DC HFMA Members,

As I begin my term as President of the Virginia-DC HFMA Chapter for 2026–2027, I am both honored and energized by the opportunity to serve this exceptional community of healthcare finance professionals. Every challenge our industry faces also presents an opportunity to innovate, collaborate, and lead. I am confident that, together, we can continue to strengthen our profession while making a meaningful impact on the organizations and communities we serve.

Our chapter has always been more than a source of education—it is a network of professionals committed to sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and developing the next generation of leaders. This year, we will continue to provide outstanding educational programs, engaging conferences, webinars, and networking events that keep our members informed, connected, and prepared for the future. As healthcare continues to evolve through advances in technology, changing regulations, and new models of care, our commitment to delivering relevant, high-quality programming remains stronger than ever.

Looking ahead, we are equally committed to investing in tomorrow’s leaders. By expanding our partnerships with colleges and universities, encouraging student involvement, and promoting mentorship and internship opportunities, we can help build a strong pipeline of talented professionals who will shape the future of healthcare finance.
