President’s Welcome

It’s an honor to serve as your 2025 HFMA Wisconsin Chapter President. This chapter has meant so much to so many, and I’m excited to build on that legacy with you.

A little about me: I’ve been married to my wife, Gretchen, for 14 years, and we’re raising four kids who keep us on our toes. Soccer has been a huge part of my life—as a former Division 1 player, a longtime coach who still spends most evenings and weekends on the field, and a dad supporting my youth athletes.

I’m also a DIYer who tends to take on too many—and too big—projects. Professionally, I’ve spent my career across retail, coaching, healthcare, and consulting as an executive, innovator, and AI leader. I’ve led enterprise-changing efforts in budgeting and forecasting, patient experience, organizational strategy, and automation and intelligent automation initiatives. Through all of this, my values have stayed consistent: improvement, family, love, community, health, and humor.

Those values are what I want to bring to our chapter. Together, we’ll focus on three things:

Evolving—bringing fresh ideas, new technology, and programming that reflects where healthcare is heading.
Focusing—doing fewer things, but doing them better, with financial sustainability at the core.
Having fun—because we’re better when we enjoy the work and each other.

My ask of you is simple: lead with clarity and kindness. Say “yes” when you can, even in small ways. Give your time—it multiplies in value. And share your ideas. This is your chapter, and your voice helps shape our future.

I believe this year can be something special. Let’s make it one to remember.
