President’s Welcome – July 2024
Dear Metropolitan Philadelphia Chapter,
It is an honor to have been sworn in as the 2024-2025 chapter president at our Past President’s Dinner in May and I am very excited to have kicked off the year with our fellow Board Members and Officers in June at our chapter leadership meeting. Having supported the HFMA Philadelphia chapter through many different roles over the years, I truly believe we are experiencing one of the most exciting times for the chapter. We successfully navigated many of the challenges during COVID, our chapter has reached our highest level of membership with 4,088 Metropolitan Philadelphia members as of June 2024, as well as our highest level of business partner support and engagement. In addition, we continued growth in expanding our chapter leadership and committees, and continue high quality C-suite executive presentations at our events. I’m optimistic about the future of our chapter and eager for the year ahead!
To interested potential volunteers – we always have opportunities for members to get involved within the chapter whether that be helping support day-of at our in-person events, serving on a committee recruiting speakers and crafting session topics, supporting behind the scenes work, or giving a presentation. Don’t hesitate to reach out and look for ways to get involved on our chapter website.
To business partners – we are excited to afford opportunities to connect and engage with our membership through our marketing outreach, at education events, or social networking gatherings. We want to hear from you and as always, appreciate the generous sponsorship support you provide to our chapter.
To chapter leadership and volunteers – thank you for your generous donation of time and talent supporting the chapter. I very much appreciate everyone’s contributions and look forward to serving beside you this year. I know we’ll accomplish much success together!
