HFMA Metropolitan Philadelphia Chapter Builds on Momentum and Expands Member Engagement

The HFMA Metropolitan Philadelphia Chapter continues to deliver strong value for healthcare finance professionals across the region. Our success is enabled by dedicated leaders, generous volunteers, and sponsors who remain both highly engaged and reliable. The chapter closed the year with a full slate of well-attended programs—including the Spring Institute, Women in Healthcare, Data Analytics, and Accounting and Auditing conferences—alongside a successful annual Golf & Spa outing. Attendees consistently cited the chapter’s ability to balance valuable education with quality networking.

Looking ahead, the chapter’s top priority is to deepen member engagement and broaden pathways for participation. A renewed focus on succession planning will help develop the next wave of chapter leaders, while expanded outreach will create more intentional opportunities for students, early-career professionals, and returning attendees who have not yet found the right role to contribute. The goal is simple: ensure every member can identify a place to learn, lead, and grow within the chapter community.

I am proud of the chapter’s strong leadership team, including President-Elect Catherine Ehrman, Treasurer Denny Henderson, Secretary Sarah Lewis, and a committed board of directors.

I am confident that HFMA Metro Philadelphia Chapter is positioned for an exceptional 2026–27 year.
