Meet the 2026-2027 Regional Executive (RE) Team! Each one of HFMA’s 11 regions has one individual that is elected by the chapter presidents-elect to serve as their Regional Executive on the Regional Executive Council. The Regional Executive Council sets policy and goals related to the Chapter Dashboard, Davis Chapter Management System, and Founders Merit Award Program.
Lisa Earl
Regional Executive
Lisa is Senior Director of Finance ERP, bringing more than 20 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation. In her current role, she provides enterprise leadership for initiatives that streamline financial systems, strengthen reporting capabilities, and advance Ascension’s Oracle ERP transformation. Her work bridges finance, technology, and operational strategy to enable more effective and integrated financial management.
A dedicated HFMA leader for more than 20 years, Lisa has demonstrated a sustained commitment to advancing the healthcare finance profession through leadership at the chapter, regional, and national levels. Her service with the Indiana Pressler Memorial Chapter has included participation on the Education and Communications Committees, service on the Board of Directors, and holding every elected officer position, culminating in her service as Chapter President. She currently serves as Regional Executive for HFMA Region 7, providing leadership and support to chapters and members across the region. Lisa has also contributed to HFMA’s Annual Conference as a volunteer on three occasions.
Throughout her HFMA career, Lisa has focused on advancing professional development, sharing knowledge, fostering meaningful connections, and strengthening the healthcare finance community. Her commitment to professional excellence is reflected in her FHFMA, CSAF, and CSBI certifications. Lisa has received the Bronze and Silver merit awards
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and her Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Indiana. Outside of her professional and HFMA commitments, Lisa enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Kara McAdam
Regional Executive II
Kara McAdam is the Executive Director of Finance at Gibson Area Hospital in Gibson City, Illinois, where she has worked since 2015. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare finance, Kara is deeply committed to supporting and advancing rural healthcare. A proud native of Gibson City, she was born in the very hospital where she now helps lead its financial strategy and operations.
Kara has been an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) since joining Gibson Area Hospital. She has served in numerous leadership roles, including President of the Greater Illinois Chapter. She played a pivotal role in the successful merger of the McMahon-Illini and Southern Illinois chapters, helping to establish the newly formed Greater Illinois Chapter.
In addition to her professional work, Kara is passionate about community service. She volunteers regularly at the local food bank and with the local Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization, helping provide beds for children in need.
Kara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Millikin University. Known for her energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to continuous improvement, Kara thrives on building connections and driving collaboration. She views HFMA not just as a professional organization, but as a family, and remains dedicated to supporting its mission and the success of its members.
Katie White
Regional Executive III
Katie serves as the Sr. Director of Finance and Performance Strategy at Luminare Health, where she leads financial strategy to support the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality, value-based care. Drawing on 15+ years of experience in healthcare finance, and navigating the complexities of alternative payment models, risk-sharing arrangements, and performance-based contracts.
Katie’s leadership is characterized by a unique ability to bridge the gap between financial data and operational execution. She has successfully developed and implemented financial models that empower care teams with the insights needed to improve patient outcomes and manage costs effectively. A passionate advocate for a holistic approach to healthcare, Katie is dedicated to building financially resilient systems that thrive by prioritizing patient success. A proven leader in building, scaling and transforming healthcare organizations.
